LEGIONNAIRE OF THE YEAR AWARD

FOR THE YEAR 2007

WAS AWARDED TO ROBERT “BOB” C. GRIGLIONE

March 31, 2007, a delegation from Post 43 spearheaded by Mr. Gus Bosetti and Mr. Ron R. Wattelet traveled to Winfield, KS

in support of Bob Griglione receiving the award.

The award was presented by National American Legion Vice-Commander, Elgin Walhborg and Terry Stephenson, Third District Commander.

Robert “Bob” C. Griglione was recipient of this prestigious award due to his dedication, not only, to American Legion Post 43 but also the city of Frontenac.

During his 14 year tenure with the Fontenac American Legion Post 43, Bob has served as post commander, chaplain, adjutant, bingo officer, membership chairperson and reports chairperson.

Bob is also very committed to the city of Frontenac and civic affairs. Bob served a two-year term on the city council, 16 years as chairperson of the Frontenac Zoning Board and is currently serving as a member of the zoning board.
